Welcome to my website - here is just a flavour of the style of music I do - I am lucky enough to play at lots of different places. I love playing and singing for people and it is a very chilled, laid-back and acoustic style. Just me and a guitar :-)
I am always looking for more songs and new things to learn so welcome any suggestions and welcome any opportunities to sing with others. You will often find me around open mic nights and randomly playing gigs at work... any excuse.
Please do get in touch if you want some live music at your house, garden party, pub, wine bar, pre drinks or even if you need singing down the aisle and entertaining your guests during your champagne reception.
Well i've written a few of my own - I would dearly love to write more and devlop my songwriting - time doesn't really permit at the moment as life is so busy with work, gigs and kids not in any kind of organised order - well organised chaos. It's good fun. I haven't got any professional recordings on my original songs but you can have a listen on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L7IWHCSZIgg if you are looking for a co-songwriter please get in touch.
The Blind Pig Gig - Sowerby Bridge
What a great venue! A hidden gem - great acoustics, beautifully done out inside and fantastic cocktails. It started off quietly playing only to a few but as it picked up it turned into a full on sing song at the end. They are planning to hold live music on Fridays amongst other things. If you are planning a night out in Sowerby Bridge you should definitely hover past the Blind Pig and give it a try.... I'm booked again for the 20th September be there or be a pig.... snort!
Help The Hero's - The Fleece in Elland
What a great day! - Spent an hour singing to the good people of Elland to help raise over £200 for a worthwhile cause. I also met some other muscians Jimbo Lynch and Keegan Harrisson. Both great acoustic acts - make sure you catch them when you can!
Raggalds - Queensbury
This is fast becoming a destination venue for great food and great entertainment. They have many tribute acts on and are fully booked for weddings for the rest of the year. Paddy and I have a little residency here playing quite often either in the lounge or in the restaurant. Seen as though Paddy has beggered off to Ireland this weekend I did my solo debut here on Saturday 3rd of August. A good time had by all. Check out their Facebook page for up and coming gigs and Caberet Carvery nights! http://on.fb.me/11FDn5M
One of my favourite bands of all time is the Stereophonics. I just love them. Their new album Grafitti on the Train has a great bluesy song on it called Caught Cheating. Kelly Jones says he penned it for Amy Winehouse to sing, but sadly she never got the chance before she passed away. We thought we would honour her and do our version - You can have a listen to it here: http://bit.ly/15vDrFV Let me know what you think!
